A MenAfriCar poster won second prize from among 450 posters at the African Society for Laboratory Medicine, Capetown, South Africa. The poster reported on “Cross-validation of three advanced laboratory technologies: Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), Quantitative Enzyme Linked Immuno Sorbent Assay (qELISA) and Serum Bactericidal Antibody (SBA) Assay in laboratories in sub-Saharan Africa” and was presented by Dr Olivier Manigart on behalf of the MenAfriCar Consortium.
