Read about the Consortium’s main aims and objectives and its organisation and governance.
The consortium is supported by two funders, the Wellcome Trust and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
The consortium brings together world-leading centres with expertise and experience in epidemiology, molecular epidemiology, microbiology, statistics, modelling and conducting multi-centre trials in Africa. MenAfriCar partners include research institutions in Africa, the USA and Europe.
